Other exterior trim found only on the Deluxe models were stainless windshield and rear window reveal moldings. The moldings outlined the windshield and rear window glass and followed the top curve of the doors and quarter windows on the Chevy sedan and Chevrolet coupe. Another cost savings item was a lack of fender skirts.
1950 Chevy Styleline Special 2 Door Sedan Most 1950 Chevrolet cars magazine advertising contained great looking art work of the Styleline Deluxe cars with lots of chrome and stainless trim. Along with whitewall tires. Unlike the images above and below found in factory brochures. 1950 Chevy Deluxe magazine ads always put into words a inspiring message like... "The new trend in automobiles design is particularly well expressed in the 1950 Chevrolet. Lines are clean, simple and flowing."
1950 Chevy Styleline Special 4 Door Sedan Styline specials did not have the appeal the Styleline Deluxe had. Only 55,644 4 door sedans (model 1503) were built, with 89,897 2 door sedans (model 1502) built.
1950 Styleline Special 4 Door Sedan Interior Both 2 door and 4 door Styleline Specials interiors came with a combination light gray weave flat cloth and dark gray cloth seats and plain light gray fabric back door panels.
